Job Description

Core Responsibilities :

• Design and develop new features and enhancements to meet business and customer needs.
• Support, redesign, and enhance existing functionality.
• Develop for websites, databases, web services, and multi-tier systems.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Help build testing frameworks, unit tests, automated tests, and improve our software build system.
• Write single page application architectural patterns.
• Implement security and data protection.
• Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
• Work in a collaborative, cross-functional team in a relaxed, casual environment with other motivated developers, QA, Project Managers, Product Owners, and Customers.
• Use tools like Plastic, SQL Server 2008 R2, Restful web services, jQuery, AJAX.

Skills and Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• Over 5 years experience developing large scale web applications in an agile environment as a full-stack developer.
• Advanced proficiency with JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it like TypeScript and React.
• Understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Understanding of security compliance.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
