We are seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Security Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing data security for our Data Warehouse end-to-end solution.
This role involves evaluating security needs, designing security procedures, conducting audits, and providing expert advice on security threats.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implementation of Data Security : Oversee the implementation of data security measures for the Data Warehouse end-to-end solution.
- Evaluate Security Needs : Assess clients’ security requirements and establish security standards for their IT infrastructure.
- Design Security Procedures : Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and systems to protect sensitive information.
- Conduct Security Audits : Perform regular security audits to identify and address vulnerabilities.
- Risk Assessment : Conduct risk assessments and test data processing systems to identify vulnerabilities.
- Advise on Security Threats : Provide clients with the latest information on security threats and recommend preventive measures for the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
- Train Staff : Educate clients’ staff on information security procedures and preventive measures.
- Incident Response : Analyze past incidents with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and respond to security breaches, providing solutions to mitigate the impact.
- Stay Updated : Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends, tools, and technologies.
- Install and Upgrade Security Software : Install, configure, and upgrade security software such as firewalls and antivirus programs.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data security, preferably in a Data Warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, and risk management.
- Experience with security software installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
