This role involves analyzing financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying data, recommending actions, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
Responsibilities :
- Analyzing financial data and create financial models for decision support
- Reporting on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
- Working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Evaluating financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Guiding the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
- Providing analysis of trends and forecasts and recommending actions for optimization
- Recommending actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials
- Identifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
- Increasing productivity by developing automated reporting / forecasting tools
- Performing market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps
- Maintaining a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.
