Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Construction and Capital Projects to lead and manage our nationwide construction operations.

This individual will oversee all aspects of construction management, project execution, and capital project initiatives.

The VP will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects ranging from $250K-$20M+ while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement strategic plans for the construction and capital projects division, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
• Project Oversight : Oversee the execution of large reconstruction and capital projects nationwide, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of construction managers, construction superintendents, and other construction professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Capital Projects : Manage capital projects from inception to completion, including estimating, budgeting, planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Vendor and Client Relationships : Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Budgeting and Financial Management : Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control for construction and capital projects, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
• Compliance and Safety : Ensure that all construction activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies on safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Risk Management : Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction projects, ensuring that all potential issues are proactively addressed.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Extensive experience in commercial restoration and reconstruction is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects and capital projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products
