We are seeking a Senior Clinical Systems Analyst with Epic certification to join our industry-leading Software Design & Development team.

This role is pivotal in advancing our electronic health records (EHR) system with a focus on integrating AI technologies.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in Healthcare Technology, including exposure to Epic systems and a passion for leveraging AI tools to revolutionize patient care.

Programming experience and familiarity with Prompt Engineering are highly desirable attributes.

Key Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Healthcare Technology, with exposure to Epic systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of AI tools and techniques, with a demonstrated interest in building AI-driven solutions for healthcare.
  • Programming experience (e.g., Python, Java, M* (MUMPS) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Prompt Engineering or similar rapid application development methodologies preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.

A Brief Overview

The Clinical Associate Systems Analyst supports core functions of the health system's applications to enable cost-effective, high quality, efficient, and safe patient care.

This position will implement, administer, and support assigned systems under the general guidance of senior members of the team.

The position will have a basic understanding of Epic modules and health system operations.

What you will do

  • Provide tier-2 support of application incidents reported through the help desk
  • Perform daily monitoring of applications in production use
  • Coordinate application support with other information technology teams including Infrastructure, Integration, Reporting, and the help desk
  • Assist in the implementation of low complexity tools and workflows
  • Assist in the upgrade of applicable software or enhancements to existing workflows
  • Assist in any testing that is required as part of new implementations, enhancements or upgrades
  • Modify tables / master files, make additions and changes under the direction of senior team members
  • Implement changes using documented procedures that are compliant with department’s policies and procedures
  • Participate in team and cross-team meetings and maintain appropriate meeting records
  • Provide ongoing troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of applications; including 24 / 7 on call coverage as required
  • Take ownership of low complexity issues and act as a liaison between customer and other support staff to facilitate resolution

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Managment Systems, Electronics Technology, Computer Engineering, Health Information Management or a directly-related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Must obtain Epic certification in relevant module(s) within 6 months of employment date. Required

Experience Qualifications

Six (6) months of healthcare or technology related work experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

EPICC - EPIC Certification required within 180 Days

Base Pay Scale : Generally starting at $49.66 - $65.80 per hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
