VCA Central Park is seeking a talented, Registered Veterinary Technician to join and lead as a Technician Supervisor full-time.
VCA Central Park is in the Central Park area and services the Central Park, Park Hill, and Founders Green neighborhoods.
Our team has a shared devotion to providing progressive medicine with compassion as a driving force, and we are eager to welcome a like-minded individual!
Compensation for this role is between $27 - $30 / hr, depending on experience.
Schedule : (4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts) Full-time available with flexible scheduling

VCA Central Park Animal Hospital is near the Central Park area and in the same plaza as a rock-climbing gym; spend your breaks climbing in!

In the supervisor role, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to :
- Directing workflow on the floor
- Help with the interview process for potential new hires
- Support Staff Scheduling
- Assists in staffing and coverage where needed
- Assists in the educational development of technicians and assistants and their skills
- Assists in basic protocol and standard procedure training
- Provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience
- Mentoring associates within the department
- Working with department doctors to develop protocols to improve the service
- Ensure that VCA policies, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff
This position is a working supervisory position responsible for leadership, management and supervision of our technical staff.
