Nail Technician (Part-Time)

In this role, you will be responsible for providing a relaxing and stress-free environment performing nail services and treatments to members and guests.

You'll be working in the Sonoran Clubhouse.

The ideal candidate will be a professional with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for delivering exceptional experiences.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a nail technician or manicurist and a valid Arizona State Board Cosmetology License is required.

Prior experience in a country club or resort environment is a plus. CPR certification preferred but required within 60 days of hire.

Hourly Rate, Plus Commission - Starting at 45 % for services provided, 10 % retail, & 100% gratuities.

JOB DETAILS

Responsibilities :

• Greet members and guests in a genuine, courteous, and service-oriented manner and provide an upscale service experience through name recognition, anticipating needs, and exceeding expectations.
• Perform nail services and treatments. Conduct all services and treatments according to guidelines and based on current certifications.
• Clean, cut, and shape nails. Apply nail service and / or treatment, providing quality customer service to take in guest needs and preferences.
• Create and maintain client cards with treatment notes, when appropriate.
• Collaborate with team members. Suggest other beneficial treatments offered in the spa, and educate members on retail products and addons.
• Promote re-booking of client's appointment.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize station and tools after each service. Maintain a clean and organized work area with an emphasis on safety and health rules & regulations.
• Clean and re-stock area before leaving for the day. Inform manager when inventory is running low.
• Communicate with Spa staff to verify next day’s appointment schedule prior to leaving for the day or call in prior to closing.
• Assist with cleanliness of all Spa areas including all common areas and locker rooms.
• Promote all on-going and up-coming programs and activities.
• Keep license current, maintain required continuing education credits, and stay abreast of current trends and techniques.
• Attend staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions :

• Required to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Required to sit for long periods of time.
• Required to walk, stand, stoop, and / or kneel Occasionally
• Must have necessary arm, hand, and finger strength and dexterity to provide massages.
