About Holy Angels Academy :
Holy Angels is a private, independent co-ed Catholic school serving students from 3-year-old Pre-Kindergarten through Grade Twelve.
Holy Angels enjoys full accreditation with the National Association of Private, Catholic and Independent Schools (NAPCIS).
Our mission is to educate and form our youth by the means of Catholic schooling in the classical tradition, to prepare them to lead holy and honorable lives for God and country and thus attain the end for which they were created, that is, eternal happiness with God.
Preschool Teacher Purpose :
The Preschool Teacher, under the general supervision of the Headmaster, designs and implements the preschool program nurturing joy and a love of truth, goodness, and beauty while and overseeing the preschool teacher’s assistant.
Responsibilities :
- Assists preschool teacher in facilitating succesful and growth in students’ academic and interpersonal skills through implementing Holy Angels Academy’s method and curriculum.
- Support Holy Angels Academy and her mission of providing a faithful and well-rounded Catholic education.
- Assists in executing weekly plans for students.
- Other duties as assigned by preschool teacher or administration.
Qualifications :
- Passionately Catholic and in full communion with the Magisterium of the Church and the mission of Holy Angels Academy.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred, but not required.
- Experience teaching is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to use discretion, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both in verbal and written form, with students, fellow faculty / staff, and parents.
