Graphic Designer
Position Summary
DarkStar Intelligence, a distinguished provider of intelligence and security services, is actively seeking a seasoned Graphic Designer to join our team, supporting a federal government client.
This full-time position is based in Bethesda, MD, and requires candidates to hold a TS / SCI security clearance along with a Counterintelligence Polygraph.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens and willing to work on-site.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads support to the ODNI to develop graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
- Mentors and trains junior staff
- Utilizes request management tools such as NarQuest to provide swift, high-quality customer support for communication requests
- Coordinates with UI / UX designer for Knowledge Management, to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience
- Creates graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
- Develops design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online
- Ensures products conform to all production standards, Copy-write laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances
- Conducts technical quality checks
- Manages an approved concept and build in HTML / CSS so it complies with responsive design principles
- Provides Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen to apply
- Current Top Secret / SCI
- Current CI Poly
- Masters Degree +10 years OR Bachelor's Degree +18 years.
