Senior FPGA Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Senior FPGA Engineer to join one of our global manufacturing and supplier clients. This person will join a specialized R&D team that is pioneering high-accuracy micro-location technologies that rely on advanced algorithms to achieve centimeter-level precision.

Responsibilities include :

• Architect and implement FPGA-based solutions to support real-time, high-accuracy micro-location systems.
• Incorporate advanced DSP and IQ radio processing algorithms that enable centimeter-level precision in dynamic environments.
• Streamline FPGA resource usage for high-speed interfaces and precision timing applications.
• Partner with cross-functional teams—hardware, software, RF, and product design—to explore new approaches for micro-location accuracy and robustness.
• Investigate emerging technologies and industry trends in signal processing, radio interfaces, and localization methods.
• Rapidly prototype cutting-edge concepts and translate them into viable, production-ready solutions.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

This is a 12-month contract position located in Southfield, MI - Hybrid, with a pay range of $60 / hr - $85 / hr.
