We are looking for energetic experienced and goaloriented Business Development Manager with vast experience in client relationship management to join our company.

The primary function is to bring in new clients and build repeat business opportunities with existing ones. Managing key accounts and ensuing strong relationship with them to ensure continuing business will be a key responsibility.

The candidate is also expected to provide excellent customer service identify potential issues and propose solutions for clients before they are raised.

Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Can generate new client leads from given database; fix appointments with prospective customers; comply with Company s policies throughout the sales cycle.
  • Presents company core competencies to prospective clients; understand company capabilities and service to be able to effectively achieve assigned business sales targets.
  • Puts together Requests of Proposals
  • Reports to department management by providing regular feedback on sales call reports on a weekly basis; ensures business targets are met and develops a wellthought pipeline of new business opportunities for the month.
  • Drives the contract formalization process with concerned internal teams for new business and existing clients.
  • Manages a portfolio of existing clients; have an indepth understanding of assigned portfolio including individual value billing contract renewal and potential for further business requirements of the client.
  • Maintains strong client relationships with clients through periodic face to face meetings telephone and email communication;

actively seeks to increase services offered to the portfolio

Handles client invoicing and payment collections.

Client Servicing

  • Ensures account records of each client are updated on an ongoing basis with all current and relevant information intact.
  • Responsible in resolving client complaints escalating to Sales and Operations Head only when necessary.
  • Provides regular twoway communications between the client and internal teams to ably set and deliver client s expectations.

Additional Responsibilities

  • In charge of the overall profitability of the account.
  • Supplements personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities e.g. product launches promotions advertising exhibitions and telemarketing.
  • Liaises with Marketing in preparing specific promotional materials.
  • Attends trade conferences and exhibitions.
  • Monitors and reports to department management on market and competitor activities and responds to information requirement from the latter in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Gathers client intelligence.
  • Builds referral and lead generation network.
  • Attends trainings and develops relevant product knowledge techniques and skills.
