Job Description Summary :

The Growth Specialist will be an integral and valued player in the Growth team's overall success, with a focus on project management for RFP's and pitches, pitch deck design & development, and pitch coordination.

S / he will report directly to the Growth Sales Manager and will work cross-functionally with our media, account management, strategic planning, and analytics departments.

Additionally, the Growth Specialist will provide other design support to our business development efforts, including but not limited to developing, updating and designing case studies, consolidating all of our best-in-class slides into a single repository for the growth department, and having a valued role in developing and improving upon our processes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO : RESPONSIBILITIES :

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Project Management on RFP's and Pitches assigned by Department Lead
  • Ensures internal business development best practices and processes are adhered to.
  • Publishes timely internal status reviews to summarize the workflow of in-progress pitches.
  • Basic audience report pulls and competitive research (MRI Simmons, Vivvix Kantar)
  • Collaborates with Primary Pitch Lead(s) to map out deliverables and milestones.
  • Interfaces with key stakeholders to ensure content and deliverables are on track.
  • Presentation design for new business
  • Supports Growth Team on pitches from deck builds & edits, to rehearsals & in-person pitch materials, etc.
  • Creates graphics to represent the key points made on slides to bring them to life.
  • Maintains and updates repository for best-in-class pitch decks and stand-alone sections of the deck.
  • Utilize and build upon presentation skills (delivery, presence, agency knowledge, etc.) with opportunities to pitch prospective clients
  • Assists in creating and delivering content internally & externally for department wins, networking, prospecting, etc.
  • Will train new hires on core project management & presentation design responsibilities if needed.

WHO YOU ARE :

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

  • 2+ years of project management and / or sales experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • You previously interned or worked in marketing, advertising, new business, or relevant area of expertise; experience supporting new business and business development initiatives in a fast-paced, high growth environment preferred but not required.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Canva or other similar content creation tools.
  • Passion for marketing and a growth mindset
  • Demonstrate ability and willingness to continuously acquire new competencies and accept new challenges
  • Experience in cross-collaboration with all departments and levels within a company, as well as vendors and clients
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
  • Work effectively with all personalities
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented, analytical, curious, and have an eye for design
  • Able to organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple activities while still meeting tight deadlines
  • Personable, approachable, and well-spoken
  • Must be extremely efficient, organized, and resourceful
  • Must have strong follow-up skills with solid attention to detail
  • Must be a self-starter / entrepreneurial and able to function well in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with many personalities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail are essential

  • BA or BS degree in a related field
  • Agency experience

  • Compensation Expectations : 65K-75K annually
