- A master's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- A significant record of ongoing professional experience as a soloist, chamber musician, and / or orchestral musician.
- Demonstrated excellence in performing and teaching musical genres within and beyond the traditional canon.
- Commitment to teaching at the college / university level and attracting, developing, and retaining outstanding students.
- Commitment to promoting, programming, and teaching works by composers from underrepresented groups.
- Commitment to working with students from diverse and under-represented communities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multifaceted academic environment, including collaborations in the Department of Music, Mason Gross School of the Arts, and the wider university.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Record of commissioning / premiering / recording new works for violin.
- Experience with string pedagogy.
