General Description :
The NDT Inspection Superintendent is the qualified and responsible person for the company’s NDT Inspection activities. This individual will be responsible for supervising the daily preventive and corrective inspections on projects.
Candidates must be able to conduct meetings, supervise inspections activity, review submittals, ensure testing is performed and coordinate QC issues with the subcontractors and or client if necessary.

- Provide effective presentation of products and services offered by Kakivik Asset Management, LLC and CCI Industrial Services.
- Assists with identification of prospects / client’s business needs and the strategic marketing approach to gain new business.
- Allocate inspection resources for required inspection coverage.
- Communicate and implement quality program changes.
- Implement document control and data collection practices as requests and needs change.
- Communicate and implement regulatory changes as notified by the client.
- Advise on client program requirements and day-to-day inquiries about process and quality questions.
- Attend project kickoff and walk downs.
- Schedule NDE for needs across all field projects.
- Retrieve and review NDE documents.
- Coordinate with client to ensure inspection is present when the project starts.
- Update QA on recurring quality issues.
- Communicate with QA on specification interpretation if guidance is needed.
- Initiate the retrieval of project documents for QC turnover package.

- Participate in strategic planning, performance management, client audits as needed.
- Coordinates and assists with creation of and packaging of information required for effective proposal presentations and RFP responses with the management team.
- Help prepare and package quotations to present to clients.
- Proposals are to be reviewed and approved in advance by the President / CEO.
- Networking with peers, clients and / or prospective clients to strengthen existing relationships and develop new business opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and team-oriented skills.
- Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to.
- Complete understanding and utilization of pricing and proposal models.
- Monitor competitors and keep the organization informed of developments.
- Participate in preparation of proposals for clients as required.
- Innovative and self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Detail oriented with excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to supervise multiple projects.
- Problem analysis and problem resolution.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Knowledge of Integrity Management, NDT Inspection, in the oilfield industry.
- Skilled in Microsoft Programs with emphasis on Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of industrial safety cultures and safety minded.
- Ability to read blueprints, engineers’ drawings, and architectural renderings of facility, plant, and equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Skilled in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication which includes good listening, and the ability to provide clear direction and effective feedback.
- Knowledge of tools used in scope of work.
- Ability to work with facility owners, operators, engineers, and asset reliability and maintenance leaders to build working relationships that lead to successful contract fulfillment and continuation.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience and knowledge of the oil and gas industry is preferred.
- Previous API 570,510 inspection experience
- RSO experience

Work involves near continuous use of the computer terminal and may require sitting for extended periods. Some overtime may be required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works at the project site. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts;
high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
Position may be working with potentially hazardous materials and waste.

Requirements
Required Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- 10 years NDT supervisory experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Strong business management and financial skills are a must.

A pre-hire post offer Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to determine an employee’s ability to perform to the job standard.

MOBILITY : Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push / pull 20 pounds for 20 feet.
Shoveling up to 20 lbs. Frequent walking and standing. Occasional keyboard use, sitting, bending, twisting, and reaching.
- HEARING : Must be able to hear audible safety alarms.
- VISUAL ACUITY : Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man.
- LIFTING : Must be able to routinely lift 20 pounds from floor to waist, 20 pounds from waist level to shoulder height and carry 20 pounds for 20 feet.
- RANGE OF MOTION : An objective range of motion measurement will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire / post offer FCE.
