Responsibilities of the Intake Specialist :
- Conduct initial consultations with potential clients via phone, email, or in person.
- Gather detailed information about clients' cases, including background details, incident specifics, and medical history.
- Provide empathetic support and clear communication during the intake process.
- Enter and maintain accurate client information in the case management system.
- Ensure all documentation is complete and organized for the legal team.
- Evaluate the viability of cases based on initial information and firm criteria.
- Determine the appropriate next steps for each potential case.
- Handle all client interactions and information with the utmost confidentiality.
- Stay updated on changes to ongoing cases and adjust scripts accordingly.
Qualifications of the Intake Specialist :
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client interactions
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Detail-oriented with a keen ability to assess and document complex information
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Empathetic and client-focused, committed to providing exceptional service
