1 Resource Group is currently looking for a Human Resource Assistant / Payroll Administrator to join our client team. As a Human Resources Assistant / Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources department, with a primary focus on payroll processing.

This role will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution, as well as supporting various HR functions.

Requirements

Responsibilities :

  • Payroll Processing :
  • Process bi-weekly payroll using Paylocity software.
  • Ensure accurate calculation and disbursement of wages, taxes, and deductions.
  • Maintain payroll records and reports in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage employee time and attendance tracking systems. Onboarding :
  • Coordinate new hire paperwork and onboarding processes.
  • Conduct pre-employment screenings, including drug tests and MVR checks.
  • Assist in employee orientation and benefits enrollment. HR Administration :
  • Maintain employee personnel files and records.
  • Update employee information and status changes in HR systems.
  • Assist with benefits administration for over 80 employees.
  • Prepare and distribute employee communications and documents. General HR Support :
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department on various projects and initiatives.
  • Assist with employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Answer employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in Paylocity software or other payroll systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus
