Overview
This position is responsible for providing paralegal support to the Staff Vice President, Corporate Counsel and other attorneys in the Legal Department.
Responsibilities
- Assist in all aspects of transactions and contract management including drafting corporate certificates, obtaining good standing documents, organizing closings, obtaining signature pages and liaising across various departments within the company
- Manage all company subsidiaries with respect to filings, annual meetings and other legal requirements and formalities
- Assist attorneys with contract preparation
- Assist with preparing for board meetings including liaising with corporate secretary in administration and preparation of board materials
- Assist with establishment and maintenance of branch offices
- Assist with managing Powers of Attorney
- Assist attorneys with Know Your Customer ( KYC )
- Assist with other administrative Legal Department matters, as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree from a 4-year accredited institution and a strong academic background preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a law firm or corporate legal department paralegal required
- Experience at an aircraft leasing firm or airline preferred but not required
- International experience a plus but not required
Skills :
- Possess strong organizational and administrative skills
- Strong ability to manage complex and varied workloads and to prioritize workloads
- Must be able to maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion at all times
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility with schedule a must
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with attorneys and other personnel

Salary Range : $70,700 - $95,600
Financial offer within the stated range is contingent on the qualification of selected candidates
