Job Title : Haul Truck Operator – Commercial & Residential Development

Location : Whitestown, IN

Job Type : Full-time

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operate Articulated Haul Trucks : Safely and efficiently operate haul trucks to transport materials around the job site, collaborating with Foremen and Dozer Operators to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist Foreman : Provide support to the site Foreman in coordinating tasks, assisting with material handling, and ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Conduct Safety & Maintenance Walkarounds : Perform regular safety checks and maintenance inspections on your haul truck to ensure it’s in proper working order and safe for operation.
  • General Site Assistance : As needed, assist with other tasks around the job site, supporting team members and ensuring the site is running efficiently.

Qualifications :

  • Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation : Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • Physical Requirements : Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Safety-Oriented : A strong understanding of and adherence to safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the job site.
  • Effective Communication : Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other team members to ensure proper coordination and project success.
  • Work Ethic & Willingness to Learn : A strong desire to learn new skills and grow in the construction industry.
  • Pre-Employment Screening : Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical exam.
