Clutch is looking for a Business Development Manager with consultancy experience for a client of ours.
Responsibilities :
- Business Development and Client Acquisition : Identify, engage, and convert potential clients into long-term partnerships, driving company growth and expanding market reach.
- Strategic Sales Execution : Proactively seek market opportunities, build strong client relationships, and create sustainable value throughout the entire sales process, from initial contact to deal closure.
- Effective Communication and Presentation : Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that highlight the company's unique value proposition.
- Sales Reporting and Forecasting : Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecasts to senior management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with customer success teams to ensure a seamless transition and onboarding of new clients.
- Performance and Goal Achievement : Set and achieve ambitious sales targets and KPIs, including new client acquisition and revenue growth.
- Product Knowledge and Strategy : Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, continuously refining the business development strategy to align with company goals.
Requirements :
- Sales Experience : 5+ years of proven success in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the analytical and consulting industry.
- Industry Knowledge : Experience working with clients in Technology, CPG, or life sciences / pharmaceutical industries is preferred.
- Education and Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is required. MBA is strongly preferred.
- Travel Commitment : Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
- Sales Expertise : Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, techniques, and lead generation strategies.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
- Business Acumen : Proven ability to drive business growth and generate leads through innovative sales approaches.
- Professional Network : Established network of contacts and potential clients.
- Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with lead generation tools and techniques.
