Position Overview :

Radiology Imaging Associates is hiring a Server Engineer to join our dynamic, fast paced organization. As a Server Engineer you will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of systems and serves by monitoring the performance, configuration, maintenance and repair.

As a detail focused individual you will be successful in documenting all downtime and repairs on systems and servers. A strong candidate will be excited to take initiative and evaluate current procedures and suggest changes as needed.

This position will help the company move forward through projects and assist in maintaining cyber security. You will understand how to effectively communicate problems quickly and alert appropriate teams and vendors.

As a Server Engineer you will have an interest in trouble shooting issues that occur and ensure that our vendors are aware of any downtime, updates or issues that we are facing.

Performance Objectives :

1. Within 30 day have an understanding of systems, networks, and infrastructure; understand connectivity with third party partners (ie hospitals).

2. Within 60 days begin reviewing system documentation, processes, and procedures. Begin suggesting changes as necessary.

3. Within 90 days begin updating and developing processes and procedures. You will work independently and depended upon to provide afterhours support.

4. Own the day to day responsibilities of ensuring that the systems and servers operate smoothly by monitoring performance, configuration, maintenance and repair.

5. Documenting all downtime, system and server issues, and repairs that are made in order to accurately understand performance of systems and servers.

6. Provide security control and management to ensure internal and external threats and abuse isnt happening.

Requirements :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar field required

MCSE Certification or relative experience required

VMWare vSphere experience required

Linux experience required (RHEL)

4+ years of experience required

Experience with VMware, Horizons, and Citrix preferred

Located in the Denver area and able to be onsite occasionally

Server hardware experience (Dell Preferred)

Some after hours work expected for server maintenance

Understanding of LAN / WAN / VLAN, TCP / IP

Understanding of Datacenter concepts (Cabling, Cooling, Power)

Outstanding Troubleshooting Skills

Team player with capability to work successfully with various personalities

Ability to lift up to 50 Lbs

• Pay range for this position is $75,000 to $102,000
