As a Mechanical Assembler you will assemble components and perform functional testing as well as :
- Coordinating work efforts to perform assembly from components per assembly drawings / bill of material
- Overseeing functional testing on assemblies, ensuring test assemblies per customer and / or division criteria
- Operating test equipment in compliance with engineering standards
- Monitoring and applying settings, calibrates and maintains assembly tools
- Working on new product lines and other projects as assigned
- Working under the direction of the Supervisor, Group leader, or experienced associates in the area
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will :
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in a hands on mechanical role such as mechanical assembly or mechanic (preferred)
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Understanding of lean principles and 6S
- Strong mechanical aptitude; familiarity with the use of common hand tools and precise measuring equipment
- Solid understanding of blueprints and bill of materials
- Ability to follow manufacturing methods; be safety and quality-oriented.

Working on night shift : Monday - Thursday 4 : 30 pm. - 2 : 30 a.m.
