We're looking for a seasoned professional like yourself to help lead our Linux administration efforts, ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems.

This position requires strong knowledge of RHEL 7-8, with experience in STIG hardening and Ansible.This position is located in our Lafayette, LA, Lebanon, VA, Belton, TX, Knoxville, TN or Fairfax, VA office;

however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.

Your future duties and responsibilities : Support the Linux environment for the database team.Development of user documentation and guidelines.

Development of presentation material.Investigate, collaborate, and resolve production jobs and job failures.Support weekend maintenance activities to apply changes during non-peak hours.

Provide input to continuous improvement of Linux Administration and Support.Implement STIG hardening standard for required systems.

Utilize Ansible to manage client machines and automate processes.Required qualifications to be successful in this role : Required qualifications to be successful in this role : Excellent communication and written skills.

Proficiency in Linux Patching / upgrading.Proficiency with Linux commands and shell scriptingProficiency with Linux troubleshootingProficiency with Ansible and Ansible TowerProficiency in High Availability and Disaster RecoveryProficiency in Linux Performance TuningProficiency in STIG hardeningMaster's degree and 5+ years of experience in a training-related field orBachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in a training-related fieldMust be able to obtain a Public TrustDesired qualifications / non-essential skills required : Solid working knowledge of AzureExperience supporting databases running on Linux.
