Expectations of the Role :
As a Policy Processing Associate , you will play a crucial role in our operations. A typical day includes obtaining, analyzing, and evaluating underwriting information to determine desired coverages.
You will issue policies and endorsements to meet company deadlines, ensuring compliance with state statutes. Your responsibilities will also involve collecting and validating information for proof of insurance and collaborating with clients, brokers, and regulatory agencies to resolve compliance issues related to Workers' Compensation.
Additionally, you will monitor requests for information and provide accurate responses to meet bureau deadlines and company standards.
Work Schedule :
This position offers a full-time schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 : 30 PM. Once fully trained, you will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, balancing remote work with in-office collaboration.
Core Requirements :
To excel as a Policy Processing Associate , you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Insurance experience or knowledge of casualty insurance is highly desired. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
Additionally, online skills assessments are required for Excel 365 and overall computer & internet literacy. A satisfactory score must be achieved in both assessments to continue in the consideration process.
