PURPOSE OF POSITION

An Accounts Payable Clerk reports to the Director of Finance and is responsible for the accurate, on time payments of invoices for Aultman Health Foundation.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

  • Processing and payment of vendor invoices.
  • Review of all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval for payment.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Answer all vendor inquiries in a timely, professional manner and maintain professional relationships with all vendors as assigned
  • Scan invoices into OnBase document imaging system.
  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Sort and distribute checks
  • Maintain emails within a timely, professional manner
  • Maintain phone calls from vendors and internal customers
  • Assist in AP projects as assigned by manager
  • Perform other duties / requests as assigned by supervisor / manager

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel
  • Proficient typing skills including the 10 key
  • Prior experience in the field preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail oriented with high levels of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to provide the highest level of customer service
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • High level of maturity to manage confidential information

WORKING CONDITIONS :

  • 8 : 00am 4 : 30pm M-F
  • Subject to frequent interruptions and changes in priority of duties throughout the day.
  • Sitting / standing / moving about during working hours
