As an Accountant, you will perform various accounting assignments requiring knowledge of operations, Company policy and accounting theory.
Includes coordinating, preparing, and analyzing financial information and reports that provide summary information for managements use in making Company financial decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, update, and submit payroll, prepare, and post related accounting entries to the general ledger.
- Records routine or recurring transactions.
- Reconciles accounts and prepares various daily, monthly, quarterly, or annual financial / cost reports and statements for various customers.
- Assists co-workers and cross functional departments with investigation of transaction and prepares correcting entries as needed to correct financial entries, documents, and reports.
- Gathers, reviews, and analyzes statistical and financial information.
- Installs, modifies, documents, and coordinates implementation of accounting systems and accounting control procedures.
- Collects appropriate data and prepares federal, state, and local reports and tax returns.
- Modifies and updates procedures as necessary.
