Marketing Manager, Dermatology

The Marketing Manager for Dermatology Professional will be responsible for collaborating on strategy, planning, and execution of professional marketing efforts for our dermatology portfolio including, Apoquel and Cytopoint.

This individual will lead our multi-channel marketing efforts in the professional channel.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and measure marketing initiatives directed to the veterinarian that support the immediate and long-term growth of the portfolio.
• Lead CRM and Next Gen Sales Engine digital optimization, Trade Show strategy, and Medical Education and Derm Speakers Bureau
• Serve as the primary marketing partner to provide materials and programs to the B2B marketing team, the Sales Force, and all channel partners to support demand creation efforts.
• Collaboration with Sales Force colleagues in identifying insights and opportunities for effective implementation of professional programs including execution of POAs.
• Be highly responsive in managing all communications with customers, specifically Account Managers, Executive Account Managers, Area Business Managers, Corporate Accounts Teams, Retail Teams, Professional Services Veterinarian Teams, Distribution Teams, and Senior Management.
• Rigorously monitor and gather key veterinarian insights, competitive activities, and market insights to incorporate into effective marketing strategies.
• Actively collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders (Technical Services, Marketing Managers, Commercial Team, Communications, Business Analytics, Market Research, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Pricing, Learning & Development, Manufacturing, etc.

to deliver against our key strategic priorities.

• Develop and manage business-critical analyses and dashboards used to support marketing activities for the portfolio. Manages the analysis of sales and customer data to identify actionable insights, trends, and recommended actions.
• Effectively direct and manage external agencies in the development of professional marketing campaigns, selling materials and medical education.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of marketing or related experience with demonstrable success. Animal health and veterinary marketing experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business or a relevant major.
• Excellent understanding of science-based marketing and the marketing process.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver best-in-class marketing plans and programs to address a dynamic market.
• Demonstrated experience in influencing a team from a key role in a strategic business initiative.
• Ability to favorably influence people without direct authority.Strengths in team and relationship building.
• Strong written and verbal communication, project management, and computer software skills among standard company programs.
• Highly responsive and results oriented. Strategically agile and energized by a fast-moving environment.
• Strong financial analysis skills and proven ability to manage budgets and expenses.
• Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proven ability in handling and effectively prioritizing multiple projects while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to travel to internal and external meetings, and customer interactions (25%).

Location

This position is based in Parsippany, NJ and may require occasional travel for industry conferences, professional meetings, and collaboration with key stakeholders.
