CareFirst is looking for a self-starting student that is ready to contribute to digital transformation in the healthcare space.
As a Digital Marketing Technology Intern, you will be an integral part of CareFirst’s Marketing department working within a team tasked with managing a suite of technology applications designed to support Marketing efficiency and results.
You’ll gain exposure to a variety of applications, departments, and vendors as this position works cross-functionally with partners within Marketing, in IT, and others.
We are looking for candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for learning, and a desire to advance their knowledge.
The ideal candidate is someone who can work throughout the year a minimum of 15-20 hours in the Fall and Spring and full-time in the Summer.
The target start date for this internship will be after the 1st of the year 2023 in the Spring Semester.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Work within a Marketing organization focused on data-driven strategies and results
- Gain exposure to leading technology applications including Salesforce and Marketing Cloud
- Participate in planning initiatives that support evolvement of CareFirst’s Marketing technology stack
- Work with various teams and team members to broaden understanding of marketing technology enablement
- Collaborate with external partner in regards to Search Engine Optimization strategy
- Consult with and support the marketing teams utilizing technology applications
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education Level : This position requires an individual working towards at-least a Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University.
Experience : Junior or Senior Undergraduate student targeting majors in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related studies with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above.
Knowledge Skills Abilities (KSA's) :
- Intermediate skills using MS Office applications (PowerPoint and Excel) and on-line, internet / intranet tools and search engines
- Strong organization skills are essential
- Strong written and verbal communications skills ability to collaborate with a variety of teams and skillsets
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment to accomplish assigned tasks
- Analytical skills and critical thinking ability to conduct online research, summarize key takeaways, and apply to strategic problem solving
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism, courtesy, and ethics
- Exposure to Search Engine Optimization (preferred)
- Some exposure to Salesforce CRM and / or Marketing Cloud (preferred)
