Director of Quality

Focus :
- Provide guidance and direction to the Quality Assurance team, overseeing day-to-day operations and promoting a culture of quality excellence.
- Develop and implement robust quality management systems to uphold product integrity and meet regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing manufacturing processes and implementing best practices to optimize quality and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications, conducting audits and facilitating corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with suppliers to maintain quality standards for incoming materials and components, driving continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
- Utilize data analysis techniques to monitor quality metrics, identify trends, and drive informed decision-making to prevent defects and improve overall quality performance.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities in quality management and process improvement.
Skill Set :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality management role within the manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of implementing quality systems and driving process improvements.
- Proficiency in quality management tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Experience with quality management software and ERP systems is desirable.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or other relevant quality management systems.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve quality objectives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights to improve quality performance.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate quality concepts and requirements across all levels of the organization.
