Job Responsibilities
- Help to plan and execute mouse in vivo studies including immunizations, titer check and efficacy testing
- Generate and maintain mammalian cell lines for internal and external projects
- Perform mammalian cell transfections, lentivirus productions and transductions
- Perform flow cytometry for binding assays, immunophenotyping and cell-based functional assays
- Perform ELISA / MSD to determine antibody titers in immunized mice and to quantify cytokine levels in cell supernatants from primary cell-based functional assays
- Perform in vitro assays, including primary human immune cell isolation, culture and differentiation
- Conduct independent data analysis contributing to scientific discussion and presentations
- Collaborate with other team members to support internal and external projects
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in biology or a similar discipline
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular biology
- 1+ years of hands-on experience working with mice, especially euthanasia & tissue collection
- Some experience or knowledge of flow cytometry and ELISA is highly desired
- Excellent attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent organization / planning skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously · Quick ability to learn scientific knowledge and experimental techniques
- Diligent, self-motivated, independent and strong sense of responsibility
- Good interpersonal skills for building relationships across functions internally and externally
