In this role, you will own ranking of content on Prime Video Home Page and other pages. You'll be solving real world problems at the confluence of engineering, machine learning, and business.

A day in the life

In your day to day work, you will engage closely with a talented engineering team, including multiple senior / principal engineers.

You will also interact with a host of other roles on a regular basis. This includes Applied Scientists, Economists, Product Managers, and Business Leaders.

You will work on projects that have the potential of outsized impact on the business, and an opportunity to learn and solve problems in a multi-disciplinary space.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
