Compensation : $16 per hour + commission (no cap on commission)

The Junkluggers of Orange County is a growing, eco-friendly junk removal service focused on providing exceptional customer experiences while making a positive impact on the environment.

We work with residential and commercial clients to remove, recycle, donate, and dispose of unwanted items responsibly. As a newer business in the area, we have endless opportunities for growth, and we're looking for a dynamic individual to help us expand our reach.

Job Summary :

We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, developing new business, and promoting our services to businesses, storage units, senior living facilities, real estate offices, property management companies, and more.

This position offers the flexibility to work part-time or full-time, with uncapped commission opportunities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to increase sales and drive revenue growth.
  • Visit local businesses, storage units, senior living facilities, real estate offices, property management companies, and other potential clients to promote our services.
  • Identify and develop relationships with new business prospects, decision-makers, and influencers within target industries.
  • Attend networking groups, trade shows, community events, and other industry-related gatherings to generate leads and build brand awareness.
  • Conduct sales presentations, provide estimates, and follow up with prospective clients to close deals.
  • Maintain a database of contacts and leads, track sales activities, and report on performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align business development activities with overall marketing efforts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications :

  • Experience in business development, sales, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and networking skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and understand their needs.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Google Drive and / or Microsoft Teams and CRM software is a plus.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
