Overview
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team at our facility located in Monroe, MI, 48162.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shipping and receiving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move materials and products
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Verify weights & counts of incoming material
- Properly complete export documents, customer invoice and NAFTA certifications
- Accurately complete paperwork for shipments and receipts
- Utilize basic computer skills to track shipments and update inventory
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Hold a valid driver's license to assist with local deliveries
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Package products according to company standards
Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing shipping environment
- Forklift licensed with proficiency in operating forklifts
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the job
- Previous packaging experience is preferred
- Strong shop math skills
