McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA / LPN / RN for its West Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients. Responsibilities include : rooming patients, assisting provider in exam rooms, assisting provider with in-office procedures, patient phone call triage, stocking rooms, obtaining prior authorizations as needed for medications, surgeries and imaging. Position comes with competitive clinic pay and valuable benefits package. Education + Graduate from an accredited school of nursing + Graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants. Certification / License + Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHA + Possession of State License Practical Nursing. + Possession of State Registered Nurse license. + Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers. Days : PT Hours - Tuesday - Thursday Hours : 7 : 30AM - 5 : 00 PM. Experience + Previous ambulatory care experience in Dermatology a plus + Experience with scribe a plus + EMR experience preferred. Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
