An excitingopportunity has arisen at Somerset County Cricket Club to join ourSport Science and Medicine team. We are looking to recruit a WomensLead Strength and Conditioning coach.

You willwork as part of the wider Sport Science and Medicine team todeliver a highperformance strength and conditioning programme toour senior womens playing squad.

Youll be confident in planningprogramming and delivering a firstclass strength and conditioningservice that maximises the physical performance of the professionalsenior squad.

The role also focuses on the wider womens strategyand delivery through the pathway working closely with the GirlsPathway Strength and Conditioning Coach to maximise the physicalcapabilities of our pathway athletes as they develop towardsbecoming professional cricketers.

Amongst otheressential criteria youll need to have a postgraduate qualificationin Strength and Conditioning or equivalent and be UKSCA accreditedor working towards.

Youll also have demonstrable experiencedelivering high performance strength and conditioning programmes inthe professional sporting environment.

To thrivein this role youll be approachable reflective and empathetic withthe ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.

Youare organised diligent and motivated with a forwardthinkingmindset. You can work under pressure and have strong decisionmakingcapabilities.

Given the nature of the role anyappointment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check. If noECB DBS is already in place this check will be carried out by theClub.

Please note that working hours will includeevenings weekends and bank holidays along with domestic andinternational travel.

You will need to beeligible to work in the UK.
