In this position...

This is an opportunity to join Ford on a great team analyzing the vehicle climate system that cools and heats the vehicle cabin and battery.

Members of the section use various CAE methods to quantify component and system level design impacts on climate system performance and power consumption.

Specific studies may include refrigerant subsystem analysis, heater subsystem analysis, front end airflow, power consumption analysis, and review of physical test data.

You'll have...

• in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• A strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and combustion
• 2+ years minimum experience in thermal / fluid CAE simulation.
• Self-directed, confident, and resilient individual with excellent communication skills.
• Excellent work planning and issue resolution skills

Master’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field

This position is a range of salary grades SG6 - SG8.
