We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Golf Fitness Specialist to join our team.
Job Summary :
As a Golf Fitness Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing fitness programs tailored specifically for golfers.
Your primary goal will be to improve clients' physical performance on the golf course, prevent injuries, and enhance their overall health and fitness.
You will work closely with clients to assess their physical condition, identify areas for improvement, and develop customized fitness plans that align with their golfing goals.
Day-to-Day :
- Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments for golfers, including physical evaluations and biomechanical analyses.
- Develop and implement personalized fitness programs that focus on flexibility, strength, balance, and endurance specific to golf.
- Provide expert instruction and guidance on golf-specific exercises, drills, and training techniques.
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust fitness plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
- Educate clients on proper nutrition, injury prevention, and overall wellness to enhance their golf performance.
- Collaborate with golf instructors, physical therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to clients' fitness and performance.
- Conduct new member assessments in accordance with club standards and track accordingly.
- Responsible for daily processing of all accounting procedures around personal training and or group session(s) accurately.
- Responsible for submitting monthly forecasts for expected sessions, assessments, and new client goals.
- Maintain current fitness-related certifications including CPR / AED and stay current with industry trends, research, and advancements in golf fitness and apply this knowledge to training programs.
About You :
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or a related field preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) credential from a recognized organization (., NASM, ACSM, NSCA) required.
- Advanced and specialized certifications such as Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certification are highly preferred.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing golf-specific fitness programs.
- Strong knowledge of biomechanics, kinesiology, and exercise physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals.
- Passion for golf and a deep understanding of the game.
- A minimum of 5 hours of fee-based work per week.
- Indoor and outdoor work.
