Mechanical Inspector

Hill International is seeking a Mechanical Inspector in Los Angeles, California

Responsibilities :

• Possess a thorough knowledge of the materials and methods used in the installation of plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration installations.
• Diagnose hazards of unsanitary conditions caused by faulty materials or poor workmanship.
• Document daily progress of work and inspect construction activities by applying knowledge of the materials and methods used in the installation of plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration installations.
• Set priorities and make decisions effectively with minimal supervision.
• Deal tactfully and effectively with LAWA stakeholders, contractors, construction workers, and the public while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Minimum Requirements :

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• 3 years or more of experience performing mechanical inspections on large-scale Public Works type projects.
• Current ICC Certification as a Commercial Mechanical Inspector.
• 30-hour Cal-OSHA training prior to assignment, received within the last 4 years.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicant's qualifications, education, experience, and work location.
