Vice President of Operations is an experienced retail operation executive who has generated significant impact through the strategic and tactical direction of large box retail operations.

Using innovative and data-led best practices to drive sales development and execution across a multi-state growing enterprise.

This position will report directly to the COO and will serve as a member of the executive team.

  • Strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the company operations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI) working with District Managers and Store Management to deliver results and drive Sale and EBITDA.
  • Create workforce management models and innovation to support store labor models and meet budgeted goals.
  • Interact regularly with the executive team and individual department heads to ensure that the company's operational priorities are aligned with the total company direction.
  • Develop and direct the Regional Managers to ensure that all operational systems are continually evaluated for proper operation relevance and utilization.
  • Continually investigate and introduce process improvement measures and present suggestions to the CEO for consideration.
  • Direct compliance of workers with established company policies, procedures, and standards such as safekeeping of company funds and property, personnel and grievance practices, and adherence to policies governing acceptance and processing of customer credit card charges.
  • Inspect premises of assigned area stores to ensure that adequate security exists and that physical facilities comply with safety and environmental codes and ordinances.
  • Review operational records and reports of store managers to project sales and to determine store profitability.
  • Analyze marketing potential of new and existing store locations and recommend additional sites or deletion of existing area stores.
  • Answer customers' complaints or inquiries and resolve problems to restore and promote good public relations.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

  • Currently 9 District Managers
  • 55 Retail locations

Required Education and Experience :

Education and / or Experience - bachelor's degree or 10-15 years of Senior Level Managerial experience.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work / Travel : This is a full-time salary position. This position requires 50-75% of travel.

Salary Range : $175,000-$200,000.
