State Licensed Managing Counsel

A company is looking for a Managing Counsel, Legislative & Policy.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the legislative legal function and advise on legislative and policy matters across jurisdictions

Provide strategic counsel on the company's policy agenda and oversee legislative initiatives and communications

Monitor evolving laws and regulations, translating them into practical recommendations for the business

Required Qualifications

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active license to practice in at least one US jurisdiction

12+ years of legal experience, with significant in-house legislative or policy counsel experience, preferably in healthcare

Expertise in policy areas such as AI, consumer health data privacy, or telehealth

Strong leadership and team development experience

Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, capable of navigating ambiguity in a growing organization
