- Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and training equivalent to four (4) years of college education in computer science, information management, business, accounting, or other related field
- Three (3) to five (5) years of extensive work experience in computer operations and information management
- Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) database and experience in assisting with SSRS Report Builder
- Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid South Carolina driver’s license
The IT Systems Specialist manages the City's data platform for core administrative and management services. Responsibilities include verifying data integrity, initiating, managing, and monitoring new modules and projects, overseeing the City's document management system, creating, compiling, and managing reports, and suggesting improvements to security protocols, business processes, and operational procedures.
