MS-IL Staffing & Packaging , and its local client, are NOW HIRING Material Handlers / Forklift Operator in the Lafayette, Indiana, area!
Pay : $17.00 / hour
Shift : 1st shift, 6AM to 4PM, Monday to Thursday possible Fridays
Occasional overtime may be required / offered
The Material Handler is responsible for inventory distribution within the warehouse. This role requires working in a fast-paced environment and performing various tasks to ensure efficient operations.
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Follow directions from Supervisors.
- Ensure workstations are clean and organized.
- Maintain a fast pace while performing job duties.
- Load and unload correct products.
- Pull orders from shelving units.
- Stand for up to 8 hours.
Job Qualifications :
1+ years of experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
Physical Requirements :
- Walking, standing, bending, crouching, and twisting.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Overhead reaching.
Dress Code & PPE Requirements :
- Safety yellow or green shirts / vest.
- Jeans or leggings.
- Tennis shoes.
- Hair must be pulled back; no dangling jewelry or loose clothing.
- Masks required when guidelines mandate.
