Growing chemicals manufacturer based in Saratoga, with a global presence, is seeking a Product Engineer to join its team!
This is a permanent, direct hire role with full benefit package.
Location : Saratoga Springs, NY
Salary : $85-125K, plus bonus and full benefits
Hours : Flexible during regular business hours; generally 8 : 30am-5pm or 8am-4 : 30pm
Travel : Travel required about 25% of the time
The Product Engineer will play a crucial role in product design and troubleshooting. This person will be responsible for all facets of system design, production, vendor relationships, installation oversight, sales support, and training for customer equipment.
Job Responsibilities :
- Design input for standard and customized equipment solutions.
- Develop user manuals and update schematic diagrams.
- Project management support of equipment installations.
- Point of contact for technical support, trouble resolution, and product training.
- Onsite customer equipment installation and training, which includes chemical dilution, mixing, and delivery of final use chemical solutions.
- Troubleshooting and programming PLCs.
- Conducting ongoing testing of equipment solutions.
- Managing equipment vendor relationships.
Requirements :
- 3 years of similar engineering experience.
- Willingness to travel as needed to customer sites and for training.
- Ability to take on new projects; open to learning and creating new product initiatives.
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or similar technical degree; relevant experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
