Job Summary : This is a professional position responsible for the continuous improvement of plant processes, control systems and equipment upgrades / replacement.
Ensures that the facility is capable of manufacturing and finishing our products in the most efficient manner with minimal downtime.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and fine tune machine control programs on existing equipment and new equipment to optimize reliability, and performance.
- Analyze plant processes, design and implement improvements.
- Assist Maintenance when needed for troubleshooting issues with hardware and processes.
- Work with others to detect problems and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team on new equipment purchases and installations.
- Maintain and upgrade SCADA and Data Collection systems.
- Ensure quality and safety standards are upheld.
- Other reporting and duties as assigned.
Requirements :
- Strong cause-effect analytical abilities to solve problems.
- Able to work in a changing environment; must be able to promote suggestions to assist in the creation of an efficient workflow.
- Technical proficiency in Rockwell software applications and networking.
- Mitsubishi Software and robotics experience (or willing to learn).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Accountability for performance.
- Technical capacity to manage data and utilize information technology.
- Written and oral communication proficiency.
- Must follow the environmental program and all safety rules.
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, Electro / Mechanical engineering required.
- 5+ years related experience required.
