Unit Description
Sodexo is currently seeking a Food Service Manager 2 for Elyria Memorial Hospital Regional Medical Center in Elyria, Ohio .
EMH Regional Medical Center is a 320 bed Hospital located 25 miles west of downtown Cleveland & the premier healthcare provider for Lorain County & Western Cuyahoga County.
EMH offers an extensive number of clinical services, general medical, surgery, emergency services & a nationally recognized cardiovascular program.
As the Food Service Manager 2 you would be directly responsible for Food and Nutrition services related to Food Service Manager directly supports retail and catering and patient services production and delivery as appropriate.
The selected candidate will support the retail cafe, catering and Sodexo's room service program. The successful candidate will manage the retail and catering experience by ensuring standards are set and met, collaborating with all staff to bring excellent service to the guests and patients and developing an eager team of Sodexo employees.
Responsibilities will include :
- Meal rounds on the floors.
- Training and development of staff.
- Ensuring food quality and compliance with HACCP guidelines.
- Direct customer interaction.
- Working with the culinary staff to address any customer complaints or issues relative to food items.
