Position Overview :

The Plumbing Design Project Manager will oversee the planning, design, and execution of plumbing systems for a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.

This role requires a skilled professional with extensive knowledge of plumbing design, project management, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and development of plumbing systems for various types of projects, including water supply, drainage, and gas systems.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop effective plumbing solutions that meet client needs and project specifications.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
• Conduct site visits to monitor the progress of projects and verify the quality of installations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and designers.
• Coordinate with contractors and other team members to resolve any design or installation issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in plumbing design.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in plumbing design and project management, preferably within the MEP industry.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
