Job Title : Manufacturing Technician
Job Description
As a manufacturing technician, your main tasks will include operating and maintaining production on the machines as directed.
You will be responsible for understanding the different types of raw materials and their appropriate manufacturing locations for utilization.
Monitoring machine operations to detect any malfunctions, checking product quality, and reporting any issues or safety concerns to the shift supervisor are also integral to this role.
Required Skills
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues using various hand / power tools
- Ability to read tape measurer and complete basic math
- Experience running a production line and understanding machine operations
- Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing
- Experience in machine operating
Work Environment
The Charleston plant is a brand-new facility located downtown along the Cooper River. It offers a clean work environment that is not climate controlled.
This role requires a rotating schedule where you will work 15 days out of the entire month. Your work week will alternate between 48 hours one week and 36 hours the next.
Shifts rotate between day and night (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am). Every 4 weeks, the shift changes from day to night. Expect a schedule of 7 days on, followed by 7 days off.
