We are looking for experiencedBusiness Analysts to help with several on highvisibility ITprojects within the City of Phoenix and will interact with ourgrowing team of 35 PMs and BAs as well as various departmentswithin the City of Phoenix.
Below are the essential functionsand qualifications that outline the role they will fulfill on ourteam.
Essentialfunctions :
Facilitatediscussions with various City of Phoenix Department personnel todocument requirements and specifications including intendedoutcomes features andfunctionality.
Developand document functional specifications associated with systemenhancements.
Ensureclarity of documented requirements to prevent scope creep goldplating or nonvalueaddedactivities.
Documentbusiness requirements according to industry best practices and Cityof Phoenix PMOprocesses.
Documentfunctional workflow diagrams to capture business goals andhighlevelscope.
Coordinateproject deliverables with the Project Manager including projectmeeting scheduling activity tracking status reportcreation.
Demonstratesuperior customer service integrity and commitment to innovationefficiency and fiscally responsibleactivity.
Qualifications :
Priorsuccessful experience as a Business Analyst with prior ITexperience and knowledge of the software lifecycle (waterfalland / oragile).
Abilityto develop requirements based on professional standards (i.e. PMIorsimilar).
Fouryeardegree or equivalent education in Information Technology or relatedfield with minimum five years experience as a business analystworking on ITprojects.
Abilityto coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure projectalignment with business objectives and industry bestpractices.
Idealcandidate has a blend of technical expertise leadership andbusiness analysisskills.
Professionaland current certification in PMI is a PLUS (PMP Agile and / orsimilarcertification).

Duration : 12months

CandidatesMUST BE LOCAL and within commuting distance to the City ofPhoenix.
Workhours are typically weekdays 85; could be nights / weekends (e.g.golive) in a hybridenvironment.
