About The Position :
Oak Hill is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to work collaboratively with management to fill vacancies which occur in community residences, day programs, education programs supported employment programs, and in the organization in general and meets hiring goals in keeping with the Oak Hill mission.
- Four years of college in a related field, and a minimum of two years of recruiting or recruiting related, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Experience working with Dayforce Applicant Tracking System is preferred or related ATS systems.
- Knowledge of employment laws and the ability to apply them in the recruitment process.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- The knowledge and skills necessary for assessing the experience, skills, abilities and personality of an individual, as they relate to a specific position.

Duties and Responsibilities :
- Source and recruit candidates by using databases, online employment forums, social media platforms, etc.
- Screens applicants for open positions. Gains familiarity with site needs and descriptions and works collaboratively with site managers and may visit sites to facilitate the efficient hiring of qualified applicants.
- Determines hiring criteria for filling vacancies by reviewing job descriptions and analyzing job requirements.
- Initiates and participates in recruiting activities using varied avenues such as staff referrals, advertising, job services, educational institutions among others, to ensure that a broad cross-section of individuals are considered for vacancies.
Attends job fairs throughout the state, at Oak Hill locations as well as through other sponsored events. Establishes contacts with schools.
- Generates applicant pool by writing current, attractive, creative advertisements and job postings based on hiring criteria, and by being prompt, proactive, and responsive.
- Maintains human resources records by documenting interviews and job offers, filing applications and related information and recording statistics.
- Ascertains that applicants have reviewed the duties and responsibilities of positions for which they are being interviewed.
- Makes a decision to continue or discontinue the hiring process with each individual after conducting a screen of application or initial interview and generates the appropriate response.
- Presents qualified applicants to supervisors by forwarding applicant information to Managers and Supervisors.
- Makes offers to applicants to be hired and prepares each for New Employee Orientation; ensures completion of paperwork such as Federal and State W4s, Employment Eligibility Forms (I-9), physical and drug test, and the preparation of employee IDs.
- Distributes other appropriate information regarding new hires to appropriate members of management and the HR team.
- Ensures receipt of all documents required for each new hire, provides information and direction to new hires regarding the New Employee Orientation and monitors new hire attendance at the NEO, follows the progress of new hires by maintaining close contact with the Staff Development Department during New Employee Orientation;
withdraws offers as deemed necessary during the orientation process.
Attends and participates in job related seminars, workshops and other types of job-related training to maintain awareness of current developments in the field.
