As a Sales Recruiter with AKE Safety Equipment, you will be responsible for bringing on outside sales personnel to protect our farmers.
You must be professional, ambitious, and reliable. This role requires creativity, quick adaptation, and having sales focused experience in the past.
The main objective is to keep forward movement and success of the business an ultimate top priority.
As a Recruiter you will :
- Focus on recruitment efforts; specifically targeting Outside Sales Representatives that reside in rural and agriculturally productive areas throughout the country
- Source candidates through creative means without relying on those who are actively applying on job boards
- Work with hiring managers to understand the expectations of the open role to ensure the best candidate fit to reduce unwanted turnover
- Thoroughly evaluate and vet candidates throughout the preliminary interviewing processes through applications, conducting phone and in-person interviews, and general communication
- Maintain continuous contact with recruits during preliminary recruiting efforts to ensure a quality and professional candidate experience
- Some travel throughout the country will be required to assist in recruiting efforts
- Maintain accurate records and databases
- Contribute new ideas that help drive efficiency and team goals
- Assist with process documentation and continuous improvement
- Support HR Manager in some HR related functions as necessary

- Knowledge of general HR policies and employment law

- Must be able to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment that emphasizes accuracy and timeliness
- Drive for results : must be able to be counted on to meet and exceed goals consistently
Preferred Skills :
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 3 + years of experience
- Experience working with W2 employees and 1099 contractors
- Experience working in an entrepreneurial and sales focused environment
