This is a Full Time, Day Shift AMR Coordinator position supporting Northwest Medical Center!
Coordinates all aspects of the Ambulatory Medical Records for Regional Clinics.
Position Qualifications / Minimum Requirements
Education :
Preferred : Some college or technical school training with emphasis in business courses preferred. Athena, Clinical experience preferred.
Experience : Required : At least two years experience in physician office, clinic or medically related environment. Knowledge of ambulatory medical records as well as physician documentation and coding requirements
Skills : Knowledge of ambulatory medical records as well as physician documentation and coding requirements. Excellent communication skills required.
Must possess strong organizational and leadership skills. Knowledge of physician office processes. Advanced oral and written skills.
Ability to diffuse problems and implement solutions. Proficient in computer software programs. Must be able to relate effectively with physicians and office staff.
Able to function effectively in stressful encounters with physicians, patients and office staff. Requires flexibility, creativity and motivational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
